Council of Europe Conference – Kosovo
On Thursday 5 December, Beth Grossman will be delivering a presentation at the Council of Europe’s Conference Freedom of Expression and Constitutional Jurisprudence in Western Balkans in Pristina, Kosovo. Beth’s presentation will explore the main challenges to freedom of expression across Europe. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of the importance of constitutional courts in implementing the European Convention on Human Rights, and to promote discussions between constitutional lawyers, judges and policy makers.
Beth has a wide-ranging practice in media and associated public law issues, as well as in commercial courts, and is currently acting for the defendant campaigning organisation Not Buying It in a data protection and misuse of private information claim involving the well-known chain of strip clubs Spearmint Rhino.
